A durable and heat-responsive stainless steel wok with comfortable oversized handles from Mauviels MCook range, which we consider the best-of-the-best.

—DETAILS— Mauviels MCook range outperforms standard stainless steel pans by miles. This wok has an inner layer of 18/10 stainless steel, three layers of heat-responsive aluminium, and an outer layer of ferritic, which makes it induction-compatible. The middle layer of that aluminium is pure, meaning there is no adhesive agent in it that slightly weakens its power. Unlike a lot of saucepans which only have heat-conducting metal like aluminium just at the base, this pan has aluminium all along the sides and to the edge, meaning your food will cook faster and more evenly. A glass lid lets you keep an eye on food without releasing any steam. High-quality, scratch-resistant steel thats polished on the outside but brushed on the inside.

Mauviel MCook pans, including handles, are polished and finished by hand; this may result in minor abrasions or scuffs. These are considered normal and do not have any impact on performance or durability.

While MCook pans are dishwasher-safe, please note that dishwasher detergents that contain harsh chemicals such as potassium are abrasive to the aluminium edge on the rims of these pans. This can cause the edge to feel sharp over time, but does not affect performance.

—BENEFITS— A wok is essential gear for using a bamboo steamer or making stir-fries, and the comfortable handles on this wok make it easy to shake the pan.
